Getting an offer on your home is exciting! But it can also bring up a lot of questions. Is it a good offer? Should you accept it? What happens if the buyer wants something changed?
You don't have to figure all of that out on your own. I'll help you understand what the offer means, talk through your options, and make sure you feel comfortable with your decision.
When a buyer makes an offer on your home, we'll go through it together.
Of course, we'll look at the price they're offering, but there are other things that matter too. We'll talk about their financing, any conditions they've included, the closing date, and anything else that could affect the sale.
I'll explain what everything means, answer your questions, and help you decide how you'd like to respond.
Not necessarily!
It's easy to get excited about the highest number, but there's more to an offer than just the price.
Sometimes an offer with a slightly lower price, stronger financing, fewer conditions, or a closing date that works better for you may be worth considering.
We'll look at the whole picture so you can make the decision that's best for your situation.
That depends on the offer. Some buyers give sellers more time to respond than others.
I'll make sure you know about any deadlines and explain your options, whether that's accepting the offer, making a counteroffer, or deciding it isn't the right fit.
I don't want you feeling rushed into a decision you don't understand.
That's something we'll work through together, too.
We'll compare the offers, discuss the differences, and talk about the best way to respond based on what's important to you.
My job is to help you understand your choices and negotiate on your behalf. Ultimately, you're the one who decides which offer, if any, you'd like to accept.
Accepting an offer is a big milestone, but there are still a few things to work through before closing day.
Depending on the contract, there may be inspections, an appraisal, financing requirements, and other deadlines along the way.
I'll keep you informed about what's happening, help you stay on top of important dates, and talk through any questions or unexpected issues that come up.
And when it's finally time to close, I'll be there to help you through those last steps.
Selling your home involves a lot of decisions, and I never want you to feel like you're making them without understanding your options.
Whether we're reviewing your first offer, negotiating terms, or getting ready for closing, you can count on me to be straightforward, available to answer your questions, and focused on what's important to you.
